I am deeply humbled to receive my 69th Honorary Doctorate from SRM University Delhi NCR, Sonepat, Haryana, during its 3rd Convocation today. The honour was presented by Hon’ble Vice-President of India, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan Ji. This recognition belongs to my KIIT, KISS & KIMS family and all my well-wishers, whose support and dedication have always inspired me. My heartfelt thanks to SRM University, Founder Chancellor Dr. T. R. Paarivendhar Ji, and the entire academic fraternity for their affection and honour. For me, every such recognition is a blessing that strengthens my resolve to serve humanity with greater humility and love.

The Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), hosted the 2nd edition of the KIMS National Conclave 2025 at the KIIT Convention Centre on 22nd November 2025. The Conclave, conceptualised by Prof. (Dr.) Achyuta Samanta, Hon’ble Founder of KIIT, KISS & KIMS, has grown into a significant annual forum where leading healthcare experts and young medical students come together for meaningful exchange and collaborative learning.   Founder’s Message Prof. Samanta expressed his happiness over the growth of the forum, saying that platforms like this inspire young minds and strengthen India’s healthcare future. Emphasising his long-held belief that “health is wealth”, he highlighted the importance of accessible healthcare, especially in rural areas. The Conclave featured high-impact keynote sessions, interactive discussions, and student engagements.

As the crisp winter breeze began to settle over Bhubaneswar, a different kind of warmth enveloped the KISS campus today! Today, our Founder, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, kept his annual promise to our 40,000 students. To ensure no child feels the cold, he personally distributed high-quality winter wear sourced all the way from Ludhiana. He spent hours handing out sweaters to the boys and shawls to the girls, one by one. It wasn't just a distribution drive; it was a gesture of love. Seeing the smiles on the students' faces as they received their gifts directly from him was the heartwarming highlight of the day.

What an unforgettable moment!
